Robert was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was also an avid motorcycle rider. He rode his Harley everywhere. To work, to drop his daughters off at school, in bike runs for local charities, to New Hampshire, Vermont, Florida, South Dakota, and down all the back roads in Rhode Island and Connecticut with his brother and friends. If it wasn't snowing or raining, he was most likely on his bike. In 2012 he was diagnosed with a large mass on his brain, a meningioma. In 2012 he took his last ride. After undergoing intense brain surgery, radiation, rehabilitation, and much, much more, in 2014 he sadly passed away from the effects of this terrible disease. There is no greater way to honor Robert then riding in his memory and raising money for this wonderful cause that could make a huge impact in the brain tumor community.
